Look for the repeated decision

Start with the work people already do. Find the tasks that involve reading, sorting, drafting, or searching across information. Describe the input, expected output, and person who reviews the result before choosing a model.

Make quality measurable

Collect representative examples, including difficult cases. Define what a good answer looks like and what a harmful failure would be. Test the whole workflow, including retrieval and formatting, rather than judging a single impressive prompt.

Give the system boundaries

Use scoped tools, validated outputs, usage limits, and clear fallback behaviour. A model should only have the access needed for its task. Consequential actions should have a human checkpoint where appropriate.

Start with a narrow pilot

Release one useful workflow to a small group. Watch how people use it, collect corrections, and compare the result to the process it replaces. Expand when the evidence supports it.
